Different types of carbon steels are used in making swords. Some common types of steel are 1055 steel, 1094 steel, 1045 steel, and T10 steel. Among them, the 1045 steel is the lowest level steel and T10 is the strongest raw material. The increased carbon content hardens the alloy with increasing sword impact resistance, hardness and capitulate strength.
